Get ready for the ultimate Tetris Party challenge! The Tetris Party Tournament will test your skills against other players. To participate in the Tetris Party Tournament, all you need to do is download
Tetris Party
from WiiWare, Nintendo's downloadable games service, then sign up on tetrisparty.com.
Once you have downloaded Tetris Party, select the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection option from the main menu, and then select
Tournament option.
This location is where you can always check to see the current tournament and round. Then, play as many games as you want; Tetris Party will keep your highest score for that round. At the end of each round, you'll receive a tournament ranking and special confirmation code to register here at TetrisParty.com. You need to register only once, but you will be required to submit your confirmation code after each round within 12 days after the end of the round.
With the chance to win great prizes, this is one party you don't want to miss! Winners will receive special certificates via email that can be redeemed for up to 1,200 Wii Points. Use the points however you'd like or, better yet, treat a friend to a copy of Tetris Party so you can continue to benefit from Tetris Party's awesome online gameplay fun!

1. When does the tournament begin?

The Tournament #4 Period is from 00:00 GMT on April 16, 2009 to 23:59 (GMT) on April 30, 2009. For the complete schedule, please register on tetrisparty.com, and then view "My Ranking."

The top 100 eligible entrants will each receive 1,200 Wii Points!

Each eligible entrant can win one prize per tournament, per Wii Console.

You can find out if you're a winner by visiting the "My Ranking" section on TetrisParty.com. You will also be contacted via email with your prize certificate within 3-4 weeks following the end of each tournament. Please see the Official Rules for more info.

5. Do I have to register to be eligible for a tournament?

Yes, registration is required, but you only need to register once at TetrisParty.com. Keep your registration information; you'll need to sign in when you check your scores at Tetris Party.com.

8. Do I have to be online at a certain time to participate in these tournaments?

You can participate any time during the day as long as it's during the designated tournament rounds. Play as many times as you want; your best score will be recorded by our system and used for the final results of each round. Please note that you must update your score in-game before the set deadline in order for it to be registered and ranked.

9. How can I be sure Tetris Party is recording my scores?
Top
Be sure to start a game from within the Tournament section of Tetris Party. Then go to the "Tournament Ranking" menu and select the appropriate Tournament Round and press "Update" to submit your results. This step is required to ensure your score is submitted and verified. Simply playing in single-player mode will NOT record an eligible score, even if the mode is the same as the current round.

10. How long is each tournament round?

Each tournament round will last approximately two weeks.

11. What is a Confirmation Code?

The Confirmation Code is a special code that Tetris Party will give you after the tournament round has ended. This code is used to determine your tournament ranking—it must be submitted at TetrisParty.com within 12 days after each round closes.

12. Where can I retrieve the Confirmation Code?

The Confirmation Code can be retrieved from within the game. Look in the "News" section of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection page found at the end of each of round played.

13. How often will I receive a Confirmation Code?

You will receive a Confirmation Code for each tournament round you participate in. You must submit your Confirmation Code for each round at TetrisParty.com within 12 days after each round closes.

Registered users at TetrisParty.com can enter Confirmation Codes in the "My Ranking" area.

16. How do I find my Wii MAC Address?
Top
- a. To find your MAC Address, select Wii Settings from the Wii Channel menu.
- b. Select "Internet," then "Console Information."
- c. The MAC Address of the Wii console is displayed on the first line.
Example Wii MAC Address: 00-00-00-00-00-00
Note: The Wii MAC Address is a unique identifier assigned to your Wii Console.
